• Give Me a B!

Well I’m back at it with the crafts again this week. Last Monday, I started painting this little fellow here and had been working on it all week. Since I had white paint from a while ago, I figured why not use this and not let it go to waste. The story behind it is… I went to Lowe’s and asked for ceiling paint and the lady told me that white paint should work fine. Well long story short it didn’t. Last week I had finally bought the right ceiling paint. The reveal on Bianca’s room will be coming shortly next week if everything goes as planned. Back to the…

  • Picture Frame Heaven

Since I had some white paint still left over in the container from a craft, I decided to go ahead and paint the picture frame I had. Of course I didn’t think to take a picture until I started the project so here it is before. And after: I used flat paint that you can paint with on the wall.  I also made the picture insert on Photoshop. This is a free project for me since I’ve had the picture frame for about four years ago and the paint was from  a project you will see Monday.

  • Ticking Time Bomb

For the last week, I really didn’t know what to expect. After the peeling of the walls, I felt like life was over! Fortunately, I still was optimistic and now at the end  middle of a long journey. So here’s the room all painted (I tried to capture as less mess as possible). There’s still some imperfections in the paint peeling wall but it’s not as noticeable as it was in the last post. After taking the tape down from the ceiling, the damage wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be (Well not bad at all). None of the ceiling was taken off like I thought. The only…

  • Paint, Paint, and More Paint

A few months ago I came across a letter “B” my younger sister had and decided that I was going to paint it. Since it was only going to be hanging on the wall, I decided to use acrylic paint from Walmart. I used the sponge brush to paint on the tan paint first just to see how well it would cover. This is it after the first coat. And now the second. Once it dried I started to painting with teal and brown. I didn’t know what I wanted to do exactly; I just knew that I wanted to paint it so that I can hang it in the…

  • Victory is Mine!

This week I tackled my parent’s bathroom and boy was it a treat (a lot more trimming than the other bathrooms). Let me go ahead and tell you that this post is going to be picture heavy! Like I stated in my last post, my mom decided to go with Warm Buff from Valspar. On Monday, I found myself in Lowe’s getting all my materials (a steel paint tray, 6 pack of rollers, and another angle brush) costing me around $65. It only took one can of paint since I made sure I wiped down the walls really well. Silly me thought that I could get done with this project in…
