• Ease My Mind!!!

For the last month my mind has been focused on one project that I wish could happen and that’s renovating this old house. I have already been brainstorming and it is getting the best of me. Since I can’t just go in and do what I want to do, I’ve been designing each room of the house. I’ve only been in it once and I thought about taking pictures, but that didn’t quite happen the way I expected it to since it was darker in some rooms than others. So I’m here to share my plans with you all if I ever get a chance to renovate this small ranch…

  • Handy(wo)man

I think I need another vacation after this week of work and it’s not even over with!!! Besides from that, let’s check out my unfinished project that I started. Isn’t she beautiful? You laughed too, yeah, that’s exactly why she is getting covered up. If you remember, in MAY, I was supposed to cover her but that didn’t happen as planned. (I’m starting to realize I’m not a planner, just a doer, when it comes to these things)  Now that i’m slowly getting back on track, I was able to get started. I won’t go into details now because I’m still trying to figure out how I will carry out…

  • Patience is the Key: Laundry Room Reveal

This Friday will be a month since I have formally introduced you guys to this lovely gal here. Before, she was shy, didn’t like to talk to people much, and didn’t want anyone to be around unless they had to be there. She was a beauty in disguise, but no one took the time out to make her into the woman she could become until now. Today she is someone who will turn heads and make you do a double take! With all that being said, here is the girl you have all been waiting for…. Ms. Laundry Room (I’m not good at coming up with nicknames).      …

  • Just Go For It

One thing I had always wanted to learn is upholstery. I always thought that it was going to be so hard and I would never get it. Well never say never because the things that look challenging sometimes end up being the easiest things you have ever done. On that note, meet my latest project: I had no idea how to cover up a bulletin board. Well I’ll say I did, just didn’t know how well it would go. So off to JoAnn’s I went and came back with fabric measuring at 1.5 yards. Let’s just say that I didn’t measure this board before I took off on my journey.…

  • Make Your Own Art

Don’t you get tired of trying to find the exact picture for your vision? I know I am. Sometimes the picture could be exactly what you want, but maybe you don’t have the money or the time to go get what you want. So what is it else for you to do? Make you own. Graphic design used to be a big part of my heart. Even though I may not be as good as I would like to designing pictures, I now see that I can used my talent in a different area to make what I want. Here’s the picture I had wanted to get for the half…
